Kinda good, a little bad. It's almost at the speed I want( 2840) ,and have room on the charts for a 1/2 grain (yes I check the books.) I'm pretty sure thats will get it to the speed that the Hornady match (2938) is. With these things, it's the little things that matter.

Place looks like a desert area
I live in a semi desert area of BC, some areas are green and lush, others are like that.
How often does it jam?
If it's resting on the mag fairly often, but if it's all free of pressure it doesn't. It the pressure on the drum causes fail to feed, due to feed lip angles.
A good skill to have.
What reloader do you use and what would you recommend to someone interested in starting to reload their ammo? Any different for rifle cartridges?
@Armmaliterifle15 For very large stuff (338 LM), I use a RCBS RC IV single stage. For practically everything else I use a DILLON 550C progressive. If you look at my playlists, you will find one called reloading
Props brother!!
@VincentTaylor-ji5ds Thanks, I'm just my bit to keep the government within the boundaries.
Cool, you saved less than $10 for 30mins of work...lol...but hey, at least your range is a little bit cleaner.
Over 430 9mm picked up, and already cleaned. An hour on my Dillon will result in that many loaded. It's over 25 a bx here in Canada so, yea I'm ahead. The real plus is it's mostly BLAZER brass, that's NOT crimped vs the nearly 2k I've picked up in other bays. I'm retired, and get paid if I do something or not. Unless if I get they cheapest 9mm, I save money reloading ammo. And it's the stuff I want, vs whatever they got on sale.
Saving money and loading ammo which is therapeutic? I don’t see what’s wrong with that.
@TommyTheMuhFuckinChooChooTrain thanks for the positive feelings. Some people do though, it seems. I'm saving 6+ a bx on 9mm, and from there it only increases. It may be only 6 a box, but it does add up, that 1 bx pays for my fuel to go to the range and back. For my 338 LM it's over 120$ for 20 rounds, and that definitely adds up!
@@PlayingWithFireOutdoors exactly! People think about instant needs instead of long term benefits and every piece of dollar you can save, do it👍🏾 i know a few rich people who think like you and that’s why they’re rich.
@PlayingWithFireOutdoors oof...it's only $13 usd for a box of 9mm here in Washington. So it's almost double the price where you're at. Like, don't get me wrong, I clean up my own brass as a matter of etiquette and save it if I ever need to reload it but I have enough of a stored supply of ammo and buy in bulk at the dips that I never really have to reload or save very much money when doing so, as it stands I have roughly 60lbs of brass for every caliber I shoot regularly and short of casting my own bullets, there's never really enough of a cost savings to warrant the investment of my time. Regardless, I'm not knocking you, if this is something you can justify for yourself and you enjoy doing it, then who the heck am I to knock you for it, just saying that for a lot of us, the few bucks a box saved isn't worth the time and investment in equipment, because let's be honest, you probably have a couple grand tied up in equipment if you're running dillion stuff....I reload myself but it's mainly for precision shooting.
The reloadi g god
Oh no I'm not, theres lots that do more. I do however record a lot, Thanks

@@PlayingWithFireOutdoors my small primer seater broke
My RCBS RC broke a long time ago, I picked up a HORNADY hand primer and use it for my single stage times. One of my friends had a LEE, but a plastic part failed, now hes picked up either a LYMAN or RCBS. Not sure as I haven't seen it.
@PlayingWithFireOutdoors I put two plastic parts in my lee instead of 1 and it's worked perfectly ever since
That's great news!
Hey man are you using the AR LAR pistol mags in that rifle to get 10rdns?
Cool . Sure out runs my single
@jefferyboring4410 that they do, but for some things I still use my RCBS RC.
I am at about 60/40 large to small pockets when picking them up.
Thats a badass machine
This model is amongst the most basic that they produce. Having said that, it can really produce. And that's with me manually feeding brass an bullets to it.
Never used H1000
@@evagelosdrinis7656 never had a need to prior to this.
How many different calibers do you reload?
@@evagelosdrinis7656 5 pistol, 11 rifle 2 shotgun.
@@PlayingWithFireOutdoors I am there on pistol and shotgun only 2 rifle. I have to pick it up.
I reload for almost everything I shoot, and some for friends. My most extreme are the 3$ a shot 338 KM and the 10.4 Swiss Vetterli
Maybe a slight increase in pressure with that Coal I have loaded at many different ooals with good success.
I'm running a lighter powder load, to offset that. I have to watch COAL max due to magazine sizing.
I like TiteGroup alot.
Nice!!!

Looking good Jim
thank you!
Looks quite windy up at the range.
thunder and lightning in town today, range tomorrow.
Oh man that's stupid. Looks like you did a good job stacking them back
We're going to have to figure out something, this is the third setup at this range. My suggestion is a metal frame with the railway ties as sacrificial guards. The matting chained to hang from, or secured to it. But hey what does a ex infanteer / naval technician know about stuff like shooting frames and designing?
@PlayingWithFireOutdoors You seem to have a vast knowledge about alot bud. Keep you the good fight.
@R.P._Tactical And some yahoo hung his tgt right over the top portion. I gave into a moments petulance, and spray bombed a DO NOT USE on that portion. Jeez reminds me of what some smart guy said, Genius has limits. Stupidity is boundless !
@PlayingWithFireOutdoors oh wow, the stupidity of some people just amazes me sometimes. He should get kicked out and banned. Stay safe buddy

Sounds like you need more wood!
requires a hardened metal frame, IMO!
I just got the dyes for 44magnum
Have you considered what powder? Looks like UNIQUE for lighter seeds, BLUE DOT for the heavier. Never loaded for that Caliber.
@PlayingWithFireOutdoors gonna use h110 or I also have hp38 and tite group
@PlayingWithFireOutdoors which loading manual do u use? I use hornady and lee sometimes but lee kinda sucks
@AmmoAlchemist I have a 1/2 dozen , that I use. A Speer from 1978, all the way up to the Hornady 10th edition. ruclips.net/user/shortsZgrTAl7SBZ4
That's ridiculous. If I can remember correctly, in Fort St John, the frames are metal.
We had that too. They were shot through!
What a gorgeous rifle bro
It's very nice., it's also fairly accurate too. Touching bullet holes are pretty common.
Looks good!
It's a great 22lr, I do like it even with its weird buffer system. It's just not my primary grouse getter, it's a great backup or loaner.
Thanks for sharing the various tools and stuff
your welcome!
Nice weapon my 22 is an old Marlin Model 60
@evagelosdrinis7656 I've got a 70PSS, still has the original case and nickel mag! ruclips.net/video/R8MVU49YXhc/видео.html
I’m more than happy with my TM-22, it’s a tac driver.
it's pretty good, it shoots subsonics too. But I've lucked into a match grade 10/22 that's awful sweet
@keyup2626 I'm not sounding positive about it, i'm sorry for that. It's a great rifle, but I do love my RR. But you're very correct it's a tackdriver, mine too. The subsonic also preform in it, can't say that about all 22 semiautos. check out my other videos I have on it and others.
Digging the 2 cam setup
not intentional.
Thanks for fixing up and making ammo for my dads old gun Jim! :)
I hope you had a blast
I like tge nickel plated. What do u think
It does look nice, but there is a reason, asr it. It's harder than the brass and also smoother. It minimizes misfeeds, which is why the police and most SD type rounds are plated.

spicey load , for use with PCCs, and it matches self-defense loads that we can't easily buy here in Canada
Whats swaging
the primers a crimped in, the push a little material back in the primer hole after the primers inserted. Swaging is the act of pushing it back away with a solid bar shaped like a primer pocket, or removed with a drill like swage remover
Id say if not careful one of thosw could be shot. Reminds me of back in the 80a I was at inservice training that was an all day event including night shooting. I observed one supposedly seasoned veteran fire his revolver through the holster into his a$$. The bullet hit concrete and richocet into an officer a$$ standing nearby. Resulting in 2 officers wounded and going to hospital. Ive seen hood ornament shot off, hoods shot, blue lights shot. Ive seen 12 ga shells placed in chambers of pump shotguns backwards and forearms racked so forcibly that the gun had to be worked on just to be put in working condition. I always found it amazing how dangerous supposed professionals can be with firearms. Im sure you being in the military can relate. A main reason that I go to private land and shoot and not the pay here firing ranges with too many people that have no handson experience
yea its for closer tgts where I know I'm not shooting my camera! For the longer range of stuff, I use my Nikon P950. That's the one I can zoom from the shooting line to see the 500 650 m tgts. the HG range is over a couple bays, it's separated by 2 berms between us and them
How many grains of title group are you using for your 124 grain loads
4.5 grains. Normally, I run 4 grains, like I said a stout load but well within book allowance.
I have been thinking of graduating to a LEE Value Turret Press it is affordable.
A progressive is definitely the way to go, if you want to get more than a few done in a single sitting. If I'm not yakking, I normally turn out about 200 in a half/3/4 of an hour.
@@PlayingWithFireOutdoors I am single stage now. I have lots of time. That Dillon is nice I have seen them work live 550 and 750 I think. I also have a Lee Load All. The single stage is an RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme.
@evagelosdrinis7656 it's a good setup, I like mine for the precision stuff I do.. Stuff like my Swedish Mauser and a new rifle I'm working to pay off!
Saweeet! And shiny!
hunting rounds north of the border, Self defense south of it.
Yes self defense rds.
Generally harder to find than primers, so this is what I have to do.
Gotta set up a battery recycling/casting line bra
I'll have to line up an extractor fan and filter!
What do you mean "bagged for shows".
A friend and I occasionally get a table at a gun show, so I have some brass cleaned, annealed, sized, counted, etc. So I can tell if I need to prep more just in case, and it looks like I have to prep some .308 and odd six. Those 2 I'll prime, then vac seal in lots of 100 for sale. I generally make enough to pay for the table, but the cherry on top is early access to all the other tables and deals!
@@PlayingWithFireOutdoors That is what I thought. I live in Illinois The Land Of Non Compliers and have never been to a gun show.
@evagelosdrinis7656 yes tough times, our PM and fellow liberal/ socialist government wants that here. right now, I'm in the last generation to lawfully own hand guns. But I trip down to Idaho to hit a few shows, and find unobitaniam. LRP! Last time I headed south, I paid for my trip by evening it out at the ones I can find are 300+ a thousand. even including a hotel gas food etc. And I had a bit of a good time long weekend type thing, I was out of pocket, maybe 100$.
@@PlayingWithFireOutdoors I thought Canada or a Upper based on your accent and shotgun reloading.
@@evagelosdrinis7656 Western Canada raised. From the prairies to the Pacific.
When its free grab it
Yes, but I now have to get powder, bullets, and primers for all this. It's a lot of stuff as I have a lot of brass, I've been getting. Powder is available, bullets with some scrounging I can find. Primers, however is the issue. I think I found some, but the cost....
@@PlayingWithFireOutdoors I reckon primers are easy to find here just high as hell. But everything is thanks to FJB
The private sellers are asking 300-400$ for LRP, that's my justification to make X-border shopping trips. Canadians can bring 5k primers across per trip, so if i spend 1500$ on a trip it gets me my primers. And many other goodies, bullets are unlimited and powder is 16 lbs max in under 2.2 lb containers. 48 hrs is 500$ but I'll pay duty so it costs more but I can justify it. Thats why I've been able to reload as much as I have been.
@@PlayingWithFireOutdoors Its crazy how much primers have went up. I dont shoot near as much as I once did. However I buy some here&there and its really accumulated much like johnny cash song about the psyco phillie cadillac I got it one piece at a time. Well more than one. I just walk about a mile and shoot but during the summer months to many ticks.
Ticks definitely reduce the amount i ride outdoors, the range is generally fairly clear of them.
You are right the weight adds up the more you got.
a few mags is one thing, but 1000+ rounds is ridiculous
@@PlayingWithFireOutdoors 1000 rds weight more than people realize of just 9mm. Some reasons some like 22lr a lot less weight and more ammo
Yes, my range/tool bag gets filled with the odd rounds I don't use at the range. Then I have to empty it completely, and I wonder why I put up with it weighing an extra 20+ lbs. Because i'm too lazy to detail clean it everytime. The odd shotgun round from the last time I was out 3 months ago, it sure adds up!
